Pantone have announced their 2020 colour of the year and it's Classic Blue!

Pantone describes Classic Blue as "Instilling calm, confidence, and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era."
"A timeless and enduring blue hue, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue is elegant in its simplicity. Suggestive of the sky at dusk, the reassuring qualities of the thought-provoking Classic Blue highlight our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era." Says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute.
In considering the recent announcement the GlobeWest design team felt Classic Blue is "very much a highlight colour you see in architecture and interiors." Says GlobeWest Design Manager, Keti Lytras.
"It also probably best fits within the Modern Mediterranean theme within our 2020 Design Directions", explains Keti.
