STAINLESS STEEL & METAL
General Care Do not use glass cleaner on stainless steel. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Clean with a damp cloth and soap, and wipe dry. Avoid wiping in a circular motion as this may mark the surface. Iron or steel frames will rust if the finish is scratched or if your furniture is exposed to excessive humidity, particularly in saltwater locations. Please Note: If in an extreme coastal location, or if the steel is regularly subjected to water, brown discolouration can appear on the surface of products. This does not affect the structural integrity or longevity of the products. This brown staining can generally be removed with mild abrasive cleaner and warm soapy water. Do not attempt this on painted or plated metal. *Content and Image Credit @globewest

OUTDOOR - FIBERGLASS & FIBRESTONE
How to care for your outdoor fibrestone and fibreglass furniture. Your furniture may require different levels of care depending on the environment in which it is used. In general, monthly cleaning and maintenance of your outdoor furniture is recommended to help prevent damage. Fibrestone is a high-temperature ceramic/steel composite of high purity refractory ceramic. Fibrestone gives the look of concrete/stone but weighs a fraction of the natural material. Outdoor fibrestone products are finished with a PU lacquer. The PU lacquer seal protects the product from minor marks and/or stains. General Care Clean surface with mild soap and a clean cloth. Ensure that the pieces are rinsed thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue. To remove regular stains, use a soft brush with mild soap. The soft brush will help to lift any surface dirt. Again, rinse the piece thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue. Use coasters and placemats when dining. Coasters will help absorb sweating by beverage glasses or cups and prevent hot mugs or cups from leaving a ring. Placemats will catch spills and prevent dishes from scratching the table. When placing hot food dishes on the tabletop always use a trivet, mat or hot pad. It is recommended that objects are not left on the surface in the same spot for extended periods of time. At times, water mineral build-up can accumulate on the surface caused by regular usage or exposure to excess moisture or heat. If this problem occurs, wash the surface with soft brush, mild detergent and water followed by a rinse with clean water. If this does not remove the mineral build-up, use a product like Lime-A-Way with a soft brush, followed by soapy water and rinse thoroughly with clean water. For more stubborn stains, the use of a more abrasive cleaner may be required. We recommend using Ajax Powder cleanser with a soft brush and rinse thoroughly with clean water. *Content and Image Credit @globewest

RATTAN
General Care Rattan is a natural material and must be treated with care, particularly the painted finish. Take care that pointed items such as pens and keys are removed from pockets when sitting on the rattan so that this does not cause the paint to chip or peel. To clean rattan furniture, brush regularly with a dry, medium-bristled brush to remove dirt and dusty build up between the reed strands. For a thorough clean, spot clean using a mild detergent. Take care not to apply too much water as this will cause the rattan to become limp. Wicker will resume its size and shape when it dries, but too much water may permanently distort its shape. Minor chipping or fading of stained or painted rattan can be touched up with a similar coloured stain-pen. Unless specifically mentioned, rattan is not suitable for outdoor use. *Content and Image Credit @globewest

To clean your bone inlay furniture, wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Do not allow bone or resin pieces that are cemented together to soak in water as the adhesive will loosen. Do not use modern cleaning products on bone inlay as they tend to be too harsh for this delicate material Exposure to sunlight can help to counteract bone’s natural tendency to yellow *Content and Image Credit @globewest
